Named the ‘People’s Choice’ at the Tamworth Country Music Festival 2024, infectious indie duo Sunday Lemonade have created a serious fizz amongst crowds across Australia. They’re high-energy live show has a splash of heartfelt folk, a dash of powerful rock and a generous squeeze of riff-driven roots, they are the refreshing rom-com soundtrack you didn’t know you needed.
Hailing from the Sapphire Coast of NSW — though proudly embracing life as enthusiastic van lifers — Tys & Loz, affectionately known as ‘The Lemons’, have been relentless in their pursuit of music. Building what is becoming a cult like following, their momentum began after taking out the Emerging Artist award at the Nannup Music Festival, a win that marked the start of a rapid rise through Australia’s live music scene.
Since then, Sunday Lemonade have supported an impressive list of acts including 19-Twenty, The Rubens, Sons of the East, Caravana Sun, Thirsty Merc, The Black Sorrows, Steph Strings, Pierce Brothers & Ash Grunwald. Their versatility and undeniable crowd connection have also seen them light up festivals such as Wanderer Festival, Music in the Park (Tones and I), and Blues at Bridgetown — proving their thirst-quenching effect across genres and audiences alike.
With 11 singles released since 2021, the duo have garnered strong support from community radio nationwide, charted on the AMRAP charts, and earned rotation across major stations including Triple M Country and ABC. Their sound — equal parts heartfelt storytelling and high-energy charm — continues to resonate with listeners who crave authenticity wrapped in an irresistible hook.
