Briar Blundell is an emerging Australian singer-songwriter with a deep connection to country music and a sound all his own. Growing up surrounded by music and spending years performing, recording and touring—including alongside his father, Australian country music legend James Blundell—Briar has developed a natural instinct for storytelling and a genuine connection with audiences.

Blending traditional country roots with contemporary influences, Briar’s music is built around honest, organic songwriting, warm and distinctive vocals, evocative guitar tones and expressive slide playing. His intimate live performances capture the heart of his songs, creating moments that feel both personal and powerful.

Drawing inspiration from artists including Tom Petty, Steve Earle, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, Emmylou Harris, Mark Knopfler, Mike Campbell and Joe Walsh, Briar brings together classic songwriting sensibilities with a fresh Australian perspective.

With a growing reputation for authentic songwriting and memorable live performances, Briar Blundell is carving out his own place in the Australian country music scene. Following in the footsteps of a celebrated musical family while forging his own artistic identity, Briar represents a new generation of Australian storytellers—grounded in tradition, but looking firmly toward the future.
